Roger is an artist who has always been inspired by the natural beauty of the female form. Roger’s paintings often have an air of eroticism which celebrates beauty and female sexuality in a sensual way if a little risqué.

Although drawing since a child it wasn't until I had an accident at work in 1992 which left me disabled, and as part of my therapy to control pain I started drawing again. I tried watercolour classes at adult education and a drawing and painting at the local college, but it wasn't until I started portrait and a Life drawing class that I found what I wanted to study 'people'. It was here I tried oil paints for the first time and from the beginning loved them, wanting to paint as much as I could.
